Dan Michalski from Pokerati attended the WSOP Cash Game Academy
The WSOP Academy attracts all types and the last event attracted a well-known poker blogger who was looking to fix a couple of leaks in his game. Dan Michalski writes for the popular Texas-centric poker blog Pokerati and took part in the WSOP Cash Game Academy two weekends ago at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
Here’s an excerpt from the article:
All in all it was a great class taught by Mark Seif, Mark Gregorich, Alex Outhred, and Michael Gracz very engaging, informative, and often irreverent didnt feel like Saturday/Sunday detention at all.
You can read the entire post here. Although, we hope you get more out of the cash game poker instruction that did Michalski:
I lost pretty big in the one session of $1/$2 NL Ive played since WSOP-Acad graduation I guess they shoulda reminded us to take a nap after class, or they can only do so much with a guy who insists on misplaying KQ generally 8 out of 10 times.
If you are looking to take your cash game to the next level, run deeper in your next poker tournament or possibly get a little more advanced poker instruction, then check out the WSOP Academy schedule. The next event up is a WSOP Tournament Academy at the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma this weekend and there is another next month in Vegas. So, why wait? Get on your way to becoming a winning poker player now.
