Post Oak Productions, the creators of Camp Hellmuth, and Harrah’s Entertainment have collaborated to bring you the newest poker camp, The WSOP Academy, hosted at Harrah’s casinos across the U.S.

Our resident professional poker instructors include Phil Hellmuth Jr., Greg Raymer and Scott Fischman, all of whom are WSOP bracelet winners, and, are ready to impart their secrets, skills and knowledge to help you become a threat at the poker table or perhaps the next WSOP bracelet winner! In addition, WSOP Academy instructors include Joe Navarro FBI ret. who is responsible for single handedly re-writing the book on poker tells and non-verbal behavior by applying his work for 25 years as an FBI agent and interrogator to the poker felt.

The WSOP Academy is comprised of 2 types of events:

The 2-day WSOP Academy
The 3-day WSOP Academy “Main Event Primer"

The WSOP Academy events put emphasis on poker education and interaction with the pros and fellow attendees. Both events are comprised of poker seminars, interactive workshops and the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in a No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with the pros. The Seminars

Each WSOP Academy will feature in-depth poker seminars focusing on Texas Hold’em. Our resident pros have systematically designed a program that covers all you will need to know in order to succeed, be it at your home game, local casino or the Main Event of the WSOP. The Live Demonstrations

Our resident pros and staff will lead you through live demonstrations at the poker tables illustrating their approach on how to play hands at critical times during a tournament or cash game. Their expert insight will no doubt help shape your own game and could help you take down that big pot rather than diminish your stack. WSOP Academy will also integrate past WSOP footage and key hands to illustrate points throughout the seminars and demonstrations.

The Tournaments

WSOP Academy attendees will play in a private, live No Limit Hold’em Tournament with the pros with an opportunity to win an entry into the WSOP Main Event including all expenses, hotel and airfare. The tournaments give you the chance to apply the skills and knowledge you’ve developed at the Academy and put it into practice. Our resident instructors play in the tournaments so it’s also a great opportunity to test yourself against some of the world’s best players.

The WSOP Academy Handbook

Each attendee will receive the WSOP Academy Handbook. The handbook, an educational tool, includes comprehensive supporting materials from the Academy’s seminars and workshops to further your poker education. The handbook has been created and approved by Phil, Greg and Scott.
